Arrow Sold my 911 today and I...

...admit that I'll miss her sexy curves & the spirited cruises to "nowhere".

Will continue to hang out on the forums... because I like the company.

And... because my new ride has a seven speed*... automatic ...

*Figured out why I am getting 34mpg on the highway (and 24mpg in the city).

*Corrected on 4 Jan. 2011 after this pleasant discovery (previously thought it was a "6 speed").

No baller's budget here... Compulsory maintenance was even a burden.

So I sold "high" while I could & lowered my car loan payment by 2/3rds.

But, if I win the lottery I'll definitely consider buying a GT P-car.

You are probably correct sir... But, for now, I am P-car-less.

Saw two 997 cars on the road today. I admit it made me want one... sigh.

'06 C230 AMG Sport w/low miles, immaculate, loaded, silver with black leather.

Not a "baller-mobile"* (*not a C55), but super comfortable, quiet, & no slouch on the road.

2 sets of wheels - 17" C230 Sport & 17" AMG, blue AMG wheel centers, OE (flat) Mercedes (blue wreath) trunk & hood emblems.

996 I am sorry. I would cry if I had to give up my car. I would get rid of my girl before my Pcar. I dreamed of owning a 911 as a kid. I used to have the toy models of 911's and I would play with them like I was actually driving one. So I can feel your pain. The car you got though is gorgeous!!!!! I want one sooo bad. I almost bought one but I bought a 2008 Acura TL Type-s instead. I wanted a car that wouldn't be so expensive to fix. Are you going to mod it?

Oh the Mercedes is a better car. The Acura isn't far behind. Of course I had to go mod mine. I threw on a set of 20's. I have picks of it in the garage part of my profile.

Funny that...

...I like the Acura S-cars as well !

Was looking at a TL-S before I got the Mercedes.

When I crunched the numbers, the car I got, worked out best for me.

Don't think many mods are necessary... Its sweet just as it sits.

My next mod will be a new GF.
