Wheels

I know I know you get what you pay for.
But I see the highly rated advertisers offering 18" wheels for $280.00 / ea.
Others @ $ 385.00 and of course BBS @ $900.00 & up.
Is there anybody using the $300.00 wheels( Victor, OZ ) and has anybody had any negative results, and are you driving your 996 the way it was meant to be driven?
Thanks

Staying "18 is going to be difficult as most aftermarket companies are aiming at "19 nonetheless there are some wheels offered.

I looked at the OZ in "18 and the most affordable are the Allegeritas, I personally don't like 'em much and the offsets are not that aggressive. In "19 they have the Superleggera, those I really like. OZ makes excellent quality wheels.

Victor, perhaps the Zehn model, nice looking, nice offsets. Victor is made by TSW, good wheel.

BBS has the CH in "19, those are ubber nice for the price and they are BBS!

Another choice could be used, a nice set of Kinesis refurbished to your own taste.

Hey, how's it going guys I'm in the same boat I've been shopping quite awhile for wheels as well. I want nice wheels as well and no I don't want to break the bank for them...I've been checking those Victors out as well but haven't made a decision as of yet. I also haven't chosen between 19 or 20 inch wheels.......just don't know.

Cool

There are some new options out there that are flow formed, monoblock cast wheels, that are priced right, very high quality and fairly light.

Check out the Avant 808, Ruger Mesh or the Forgestar F14's.

I put a set of F14's on my sport sedan DD and am very happy with them.

I wish BBS would make the new F1 wheel in an 18" size... I love the way that looks.

a big difference with a cheap wheel is weight, the cheaper the casting the more material required and the heavier the wheel. get it weighed and decide if that what you want on your car.

Some of the after-market wheels we offer are lighter than some of the factory wheels...
