The dual conical system that we have for the 996 GT3 and the new 997.2 DFI car will not fit on a 996/997 because the way the throttle body comes out is different.

 

I understand, but for better engine breathing carrera a double cone would be better? with two air filters breathe more freely?

 

Bummer, I would buy one just cuz it looks cool if it fit.

 

Hey Mkc2, yes the Dual Carbon Fiber Y Pipe Intake will only fit the 996 GT3 and 2009+ 997.2 cars. As you can see from the photo that Jeremy posted, the single tube Competition Intake is the one for the 996 and 997.1. Those cars only have one Air intake snorkel on the trunk lid so we followed the OEM design. The Competition intake for the 966/997.1 really does work well and just improves the overall performance and feel of the car.

Hey Sosoomi1, that affect your seeing is the HD camera picking up the LED lights in the recording rate. It is not the vehicle but it does look cool. You wont believe how many people ask about this and want it .
