I have a 2000 911 cabriolet with dual power seats. The driver seat has the ability to go up and down, but the passenger seat does not seem to, and is much higher than the drivers seat. The previous owner says the passenger seat never had the ability to go up and down. Is this true?

I just had this issue on my 2001 Cab... it was the drive cable being disconnected from the motor under the seat. I removed the seat bolts and tilted the seat back... when you look under the seat there will be a cable in a white plastic sheath that goes from the rail to one of the motors. My bet is yours is disconnected, all I had to do to fix mine was firmly reseat it. FYI

Turns out the switch is bad. (wont go down, does everything else) Maybe there is a way to touch two wires together and just drop the seat?

Anyone know where I can get a switch? (Porsche wants 500 bucks)
