It's a real car, right now.

I know this was posted recently, but my sources tell me this car is real, and real right now.

Any word on price, and availability? Should I be canceling my Cayenne order and waiting or are we talking an 07 or 08 model.

well you'll wanna wait until at least the third model year for them to get the bugs out if the cayenne is any guide.

That's hot, it will probably arrive in the US within 3 or 4 years when my 996 lease expires and my daughter will no longer fit in the back seat!

$100k to $150k euros (or $135k to $200k USD) pre-options, could be a tough sale for 10k US models/year.

Yep, I would agree...

They would be better off competing with the CLS500 and 55 or about that price point IMHO.

well that was what I had heard on another forum, I have noticed when I was in Europe that cars were much more expensive than in the US, when you make the conversion to US dollars. My guess would be that it would be in the $100K range, that way it would compete with other sedans like Quatroporte and S-class AMG. This would just be my wuess though
