I might have some Gemballa Stuff for sale Maybe..

Hi everyone, Long time member on another board...I know alot of you from there. THIS IS NOT a for sale post really, I think I am looking for some advise. I have an 04 C2 , I have done some mods, however i am focused on the outside, I have just bought a Gemaballa GT600 Front bumper and a Kevlar hood.I have some nice pieces to go with this stuff like GT3 II side skirts, and i have put on GT3 wheels aka Sport design and waiting on my techart II wing.Getting to my point I am not 100% convinced that i will put the Gemballa stuff on , the reason is I have been told that they might not be able to match My paint(Artic silver) with out blending into the fenders. This is not an option so my question is how much do you think the gemballa stuff is worth if i deside to sell it??
Thanks in advance
Paul

A reputable body shop shouldn't have a problem matching the paint, I would think.

Paul,
Welcome to the other side. All that stuff is bolt on/off just get it painted as good as they can and go with it, you can always strip it off later and go back to stock.
I decided to go with factory stuff on mine as opposed to aftermarket, better R&D I guess.
After many years of dealing with used racing parts the rule is 1/2 new +/- condition/demand. If you price stuff with that rule, it will move and you won't lose that much on the deal. The guys who try to get every penny out of their stuff are generally stuck with it, nobody wants to pay new price for old stuff.
Chris

Yeah, all gone. X73, x51 in my future. The GT2 spoiler was nice, just a little much for me right now.
Let me know when you're heading down, I'll find some twisties for us.

If a body shop told you that they may not be able to match the paint, find another shop. Unfortunately, I have had to paint the front valence on my two-year old AS TT twice and I defy you to tell me where it was painted without using a paint meter.

If a body shop is really good, blending should not make a difference. My body man did not blend in the fenders or the hood when he painted the front valence and you cannot tell it was a repaint.
