Front End/Skirts: 996 Aerokit vs GT3

Front end and side skirts...
Any difference between these two? As I understand it so far, it seems there were 996 GT3 Mk1 & Mk2, right? And GT3s were made, but not shipped to the States until '04, right? And '04 was Mk2? If this is all true, did the 996 Aerokits change also when 996 GT3 went to Mk2? Or does GT3 Mk2 mean 997 GT3? It seems I've seen two very slightly differently contoured 996 GT3/Aero front end/side skirts. Was Aerokit also available on 986, or just 996?
20 questions.

Thank you!

996 mk1 aero (99-01) = 996 GT3 mk1(euro) = can fit on 986 as front end is the same. I'm not sure if 986's had their own aero kit for front end.
996 mk2 aero (02-04) = 996 GT3 mk2(euro/usa 04+)
I'm not sure about the 996 mk2's but on the 996 mk1's(99-01) and 986's, there are 2 different fronts. One with a 3rd radiator (center) cutout and one without the cutout.

sideskirts are different also 996 99-01 and 986 (round at the rear portion) vs. 02-04's (angled at the rear)

To make things a bit more confusing, there were 3 variants of the MK2 front bumper with the Cup bumper having 3 slots on the top for venting.

Thanks, Alpine! Do you, or any of you guys, know if the 986 offered an Aerokit, and if so, if it offered side skirts with it? I'm asking because the wheelbase is longer on the boxster, so they wouldn't be interchangeable. I'll ask in the Boxster forum too, if no one seems to know.
Thanks, guys.

Seems like they did offer for 986. It states "special side skirts" also.
