The BMW meet was a mistake, to many kids with there M3's. Kind of felt bad because I had a 2003 M3 for a year than got the Porsche. They were cool but I could tell a little resentful. Did plenty to here so far. New silver hood emblem, front turbo lip(which every C4S) owner should do. It adds stabililty like you would not believe at speeds over 80. C4S wheel caps, rear wing and tint. I am going to do some more Carbon fiber, as the rear center console, the doors and the upper dash/vents kit next month or so. The engine is planned to stay stock as after reading there seems to real advancement in major displacement. She has the short shifter, but adding the carbon ****, and maybe some pedals. I am trying to find a used factory navigation to in. She is the *****(a good way), no doubt.
if you go to another one ever let me know, like pm me. id love to see your car and it will be nice to be around another porsche lover. how was the 951 that was there?? from the video that thing sounded mean. the guy with the 951 is trying to get more porsche's to come out.

csimon, you're right about the added stability with the TT lip, I know 1st hand!
Slow!, Marc, at the track m3's are just in the way, or blowing their motors!

Thanks for all the replies. The blk/blk is gorgeous, however a pain the *** to keep clean. But that's why she is not my daily driver. The license plate is a special plate that supports DARE(Drug Abuse Resistance Education), and of course it looks good because of the black. The M3 is not even close for speed on the track or just launching her. I know on paper it looks like that, however, try and launch one, and you are sure to spinn until it hooks up, and that is precious seconds, as well as loss of tread and clutch life. I also just laucnhed against C55 AMG, which is to be faster than an M3, C4S and is automatic, again, his tires spinned, and by that time I was gone in front, which has a lot to do with the awd, but the ease to which you can launch the car. Now, I am not totally dissing the M3, I loved for the year, however the engine is sweet, but stretched to it's limits, and very very prone to problems, and the values are dumping like nothing before. On the track, once the M3 hooks up, yeah its a great machine, however, the C4S is just so much better if you like spirited driving, and I am not talking tire smoke, just the ease and predictablility as well as the tranisitions this car can make side to side, vs the M3, it is not even close. I will get some more pictures up this weekend. Thanks again.

By the way, the New M3 will have the M5 V10 with 2 less cylinders, why waste your money on the version now.

1) very nice looking car very clean dont muck it up with tons of add ons, unless they increase handling or perfomance

2) I have driven the C4S many times as my best friend has one and find it a bit slow and heavy compared to the M3, I am actually getting an M3 comp first week of April. Even though the Porsche is of course a better looking car I should know I owned 2 of them!

ENJOY!

Slow and heavy compared to an M3?

The torque curve is way earlier than my old 2002 M3 SMG and the weight? Well no body roll vs the M3; mix that with the steering feel and i just can't agree with your comments.

I've heard also that it (C4S)feels slower straight line than an M3,( I just sold my '01 M3 moving to a 996 C2). The M3 engine is a beast and there is no denying its high revs, however it feels more heavy and clunky around the corners.
BTW, I'm just buying some time before I go back to the E90 M3. although I think that its 400HP will be underpowered while the competition has already pushed ahead.
