Lots of time on my hands for mods.

Laid off today after 20 years of loyal service. Will have plenty of time on my hands to do some low-cost mods this summer. This is what I've planned:

New motor mounts

Clean Radiators

Mod to allow top to open/close while moving

Robo-Top one touch roof button

Spoiler button

Paint center console

Paint brake calipers red or yellow

Paint bumperettes

Paint Wheel crests (Edit) - Not necessary. I cleaned them with a Mr Clean Magic Eraser and they look good again.

Polish Headlamps

OBC Switch Install

Any other ideas? Also if anyone needs a C# programmer in the NY Metro area, let me know.

I would do a mod on exhaust by adding some by pass pipes. Cost should be about 100-150 to have a muffler shop weld new pipes.

I like the homelink mod if you have a garage door opener.

No room in the garage for the car, so no need for the remote mod. I've already partially done an exhaust mod (one side so far, long story). I'll look into the paddle shifters, and thanks for the sympathy.

Sucks that they let you go but be glad you're in the tech sector. You should be able to pick up jobs a lot easier.

I'm in a similiar industry and if you're an old dog willing to learn new tricks, I would seriously look into learning objective C on your own. It is somewhat similiar to C# but since the mobile and tablet market are taking off like crazy, there are a lot of demand for iPad/iPhone app programmers these days.

PM me if you're interested in what specifics to be concentrating on within that field.

BTW, don't forget to address all the fluids.

Alpine003 -

Thanks for the info about objective C. I'll definitely look into it. Luckily, I received a decent package and have time to sort things out.
