Hi...just wonder if anyone here want's to join me to trip to north carolina dragon tail and surounding areas.
I planing this trip for sunday to tuesday.just after winter storage i'm exited take my car and get some great ride.I will be leaving chicago but anyone on the way there or if someone wanna meet up there will be welcome.
As you know north carolina and surounding areas have great roads and i did my homework to get some maps and infos for great round trips there.
I looking to get alot pictures and some videos there.unfortunately i don't have GOPRO HD camera so if anyone in chicagoland will borrow me one for fee or something would be great...let me know if anyone want's to join

Dates? You werent referring to yesterday Sunday were you? I was hoping to get to the dragon sometime this year (would be my first time) I never had the chance to go with my boxster, now I know I need to go with my 911

 

I'm flexible....i was thinking of sunday 27.

 

i went on a Thursday in OCT 2009, there was no traffic or cops, it took it easy, but did encounter one biker having a crash... Drive with in your limits, i did not stop at any of the shops as i wanted to get to ATL before Midnight... it was a 1650km Road Trip for me One Way and took me 16-17 hours of driving... i did get 640km out of a Full Tank at 90mph Cruise Control :P

i think i leave today...i'm just so exited and the weather for couple of days there should be around 80F.Which is for convertible perfect

its amazing eh? i took 129 all the way to ATL it was like 4 hours, and it was also dark at night!

 

I live in Charlotte and still haven't done it yet but I think you just inspired me.

Are you back already? How many miles was your trip?

I wish I could have met you up there, but I was working in Raleigh this week.

I have a big car meet up there at Fontana in May.

yes...i find the skyway and enjoy it! :-)My total milage was about 1600.
