Front suspension squeaking

My front right suspension all of a sudden started squeaking....noticed it on slow speed bumps. The squeak is like closing a rusted door...kinda squeak.
Took the wheel off and found nothing. Traced it down to spring area. I can replicate the squeak when I press down on the front right. Does anyone have any idea what to check next? H&r springs/bilsteins only about 8-9k miles ago. Shocks are not leaking nor do they feel blown. The springs have no rust.

what you are likely hearing is the sway bar bushings... over time they get hard and shrink back a bit... causing the sway bar to be loose and squeeky as the vehicles goes up and down.

I believe it is your lower control arm... it should cost you in the range of $400 to $500 to correct this issue...

+ 1 I would be inclined to go this route first.

I had the same issue before and it was the lower control arm for the rear drivers side... same sound again a few weeks ago coming from the front passenger side this time, lower control arm once again... now the squeak that you hear can very well be coming from a different faulty part but through my experience it has so far been what i mentioned...

I just had my passenger side go too. I went under car and it seems to be the lower control arm. I'm fairly handy so thinking I may order it myself and install. My brakes are squeaking too which is just annoying.

What you are probably hearing is the IMS or RMS. You will need a new engine - probably an X51 or Turbo.

i'd check the sway bar first. check the bushings and replace if needed. otherwise put a lil bushing grease or ATE caliper grease and see if it goes away. should also check up on the sway bar end links and see if they are worn. a bad end link will cause lots of noise or sound like the car is falling apart. last is to check the control arm. if in the end that is the problem there is oem or cheaper versions for $100. but I'd reccomend you rebuild the arm. Vertexauto has a heavy duty ball joint replacement kit for $139. and you can order a urethane bushing for it for $50 . your car will feel alot better with this setup.
