I have the same exhaust but with the evoms intake and I absolutely love it. It sounds the way a Porsche was meant to sound. My father and neighbor both agree that its too loud though

Did you notice any gains when combined with the flash or the cats alone?

 

how bad is the smell running catless? I ran catless in my lexus is300 and it was a huge mistake.. right now i have a muffler bypass with factory cats. Its too loud and unrefined sounding. I want to try a cat bypass with factory mufflers instead next time.

 

Makes me want to go tear up some back roads!

To answer Spilt, I had no issues with the Cat-Deletes, no weird smells and such and with the Softronic ReFlash, Cat-Deletes and Afterhour Muffler I felt a HUGE gain over the stock system. I'm just guessing but it honestly felt like a 30hp increase. But you become Immune to speed, so I had to buy the Vivid Racing Turbo Kit.

Small World, I think I bought them from you on eBay. Loved them for over the last year but bought the Vivid Racing Turbo Kit and it replaces everything. Going to put my whole system, Cat-Deletes, Afterhours Mufflers and Fabspeed tips on eBay sometime. I'm in Iraq right now.

I tried the muffler delete/bypass and feel the same as many on this board... Just a little too loud for my taste.

I had a custom exhaust made with using "spin-tech" mufflers. believe it or not, it is one of the smoothest sounding systems i have heard on the 996. I'll try and post a video soon so that all can hear! it cost me about $300 parts and labor.. Please... before some decide to trash me on this one.. allow me some time to get up a video .. lol
