Metal on **** end?

Here's an interesting question...

As some of you may know I installed a SC kit and exhaust this past winter. What I've noticed is that even after a short drive the back end of the car, rear bumper and rear decklid under the spoiler, has some metallic substance all over it. Very fine like dust, but something metallic.

I did a compete visual inspection and I can't see anything rubbing metal on metal and there are no sounds to indicate metal rubbing.

My question is, could this be residual debris from the new 200 cell cats that are burning off?

Cheers
Aaron

Sounds like whoever fabricated your new parts didn't bother to clean metal shavings out of the parts before final assembly!

You sure it's not just dust from the belt?

Maybe reinforcement fibers of some kind?

Could be dust from your tires. It looks a little metallic.
