should I update my 996 to a 997
Ok I was involved in an accident and as a result the front passenger fender is damaged the front bumper cover is ripped in two places and the hood is also damaged. So should i just take this opportunity to update my car to the 997 look?
I attached a picture. Yes it is an OEM aerokit bumper whcih isnt cheap(hard to find as well) also the reason im thinking of updating.
Anyone doen this this and how hard how much doe sit cost.
What can I realistically expect to sell my old parts for if anything?

Ok did an in-depth write up for another 6speed member https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ml#post3047872 check out post #4.
Cheers!

We have an easier alternative, check out our web site at www.gt3tek.com We have a new GT3 RS look rear bumper, side skirts and lower front lip to give you the 2010 look. You will need a replacement bumper for our lower since you damaged it, I can find a good used one in ebay for around 300 dlls.
Do what YOU want but consider future resale if this is a shorter temp car. Also keep in mind that a proper conversion using OEM parts will easily be 7k+.
