should I update my 996 to a 997

Ok I was involved in an accident and as a result the front passenger fender is damaged the front bumper cover is ripped in two places and the hood is also damaged. So should i just take this opportunity to update my car to the 997 look?

I attached a picture. Yes it is an OEM aerokit bumper whcih isnt cheap(hard to find as well) also the reason im thinking of updating.

Anyone doen this this and how hard how much doe sit cost.

What can I realistically expect to sell my old parts for if anything?

If I had the dollars, I'd do that one ^^^

Do what YOU want but consider future resale if this is a shorter temp car. Also keep in mind that a proper conversion using OEM parts will easily be 7k+.

I'd keep it true to what it is. Although Psycho Sid's car looks pretty nice, too.

You could also try updating the look to a MK2 GT3 look, you know 2003-2005.

I think you should keep it at true to what it is, because when it comes time to sell it may be harder to find a seller.

Personally I like the Aero I look. If you like 997, sell yours and get a 997... A 997 update with OEM parts you are looking at $10k + paint and labor.
