The right hand headlight on my 1998 C2 is flickering constantly. Both high and low beams are flickering.

Since I have aftermarket HID kits installed and the lights do NOT flicker with the standard Halogen bulbs installed I suspected the aftermarket HID kits. However, after swapping the left and right hand side HID kits, the right hand side is still flickering!

I've searched the forum and others have indicated that the light switch or the ignition switch might be the problems if BOTH sides are flickering.

Could one of these switches still be the causing these problems?

I've got aftermarket HIDs from sponsor on here....had similar symptoms...It had been driving me nuts for a few months thinking it was the HIDs...
I got new headlight switch..the one behind the switch on the left....it solved mine
Mine would flicker....take a while to turn on...eventually wouldn't turn on

 

Did both your headlights flicker or just one?

Was replacing the headlight switch expensive?

I believe my high beams were fine...just my low beam...started with one then both started flickering...light would eventually become intermittent I had to turn on off a few times
It's really easy to replace...I paid around 100 or so. I believe it was from suncoast
