Just bought a 996
Hey everyone, just bought a 996 on Saturday. '99, 6 speed, 52K miles. Love it!

Here are some pics! Looking forward to hanging around with you guys.

To do list: Clear side markers, 996 GT3 Shifter, Tint (not sure what % yet, any advice?) and a 911 rear badge (either black or silver)!

nice, congrats

might also want to get a smoked third brake light, really cleans up the rear end

depending what headlights you have performing an amberectomy is a nice way to clean up the front end

mine is having tint done today, i went with legal tint but darker looks better

Unfortunately, I have no idea what was used to lower it and it wasn't done at my dealer so they don't know either.

Thanks for the ideas, will look into them.

What's the legal % in your area? Where I am it's 35%.

Ohh yeaahhh!!! It's even faster when it's clean too, but unfortunately black only stays clean for about 5 minutes!

its 35% in mass, which looks fine, darker would be better though

35% is what I have as well any darker will get fix it ticket in CA for sure.

Looks good. these cars do look great in black. Unfortunately the area I live in there seems to be a bazillion of them. I picked up a 99 in may and have thoroughly enjoyed mine. Welcome and enjoy.
