I would like to organize a Sport tip group buy. I like the Porsche Tips for my 99 996 C4. I think the Fabspeed tips are exact replicas. Would anyone be interested in this or some other style tips? Please post

 

If the tips are the same for a 01 C2, I'd be down with a group buy. ..Depending on price, of course.

 

I'd be interested in the Quad exhaust tips that fit onto the narrow body if this is something you might consider.....Dansk makes a set that I think is compatible with many of the aftermarket exhaust systems so that we can easily transfer the tips if we buy one.....

Can you please respond with photos of the tips??? I have a '02 996 C4 narrow body and I also would be interested.

 

I have been trying to find out who sells these quad tips with no luck. I like the idea too. We should investigate this issue more.

 

I could have sworn that I saw a site that offered Dansk Quad Tips for the narrow body, but after doing a quick search I can't find it anymore. Maybe someone has a site that offers these?

There are OEM Porsche Quad tips that we could maybe get a groupbuy going for too. Part numbers are:

996 111 981 02 left
996 111 982 02 right

I'm not sure if the OEM tips fit aftermarket exhaust systems - I'm assuming it probably does. I just remember reading that the Dansk tips fits alot of the popular aftermarket exhaust muffler systems......

If Dansk truly offers the quad for our cars and it is compatible with some of the mainstream aftermarket muffler systems, including the OEM one, I would be more interested in that.

 

Ok, I was the member who mentioned that Dansk sells a quad pipe for narrowbodies and I have their contact info (I bought their muffler for my 1979 SC a couple of years ago).

I think I've seen the Dansk for the C2 selling for roughly $380. Slightly higher price for C4 and widebodies.

Porsche Tequip sells quad pipes for every type of 996 Pcar, narrow or widebody, for $569 at Departstop.

Speedart sells their own quadpipe for all 996 Pcars that's a knockoff of the RUF quadpipe. Looks just like the RUF w/o the RUF badge or sticker shock. The RUF style has two distinct pipes side-by-side rather than interlocking like the factory.
