Thumbs up ADAPTEC Wheel Spacer Install

Sorry it has taken so long to get this up guys, only took a couple hours to do including cleaning the inside of the wheels, but with the holidays and an unexpected month long TDY it just hasn't come together until now. SO here it is, the most straight forward, simple install of the adaptec 7mm front, 15mm rear aluminum spacers.

Very nicely wrapped and packed, everything arrived just 2 weeks after custom ordering them, VERY low price including the required extended hardware. I have seen the Porsche style hardware sell for as much as I paid for the whole thing.

Very simply remove the wheel, clean the hub and slap this bad boy on. May require a few bumps from a rubber mallet to get on as they are machined to exacting proportions.

Reinstall and torque the wheel and lower, and repeat for the remaining 3 wheels! Easy as can be, here is a before...

and some after...

EXTREMELY Satisfied with my purchase, makes my winter set of wheels seem a little more like summer custom wheels, until I can buy the HRE's that I want, they will do just nicely! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask away!

Jonathan

I have the same setup on my 997, but I only went with the rear wheel spacers. For my winter wheel set up. I'm using 996 turbo wheels from a narrow body. For my c4s wide body I have no issues with them easy install, and priced right.

Thes are the 18x7.5/18x10 two piece sport design wheels I believe. I can't believe the compliments I get on them as they are just a stock wheel as far as I know. But I will say I have never seen another set in person. Considering selling them and get my custom wheels this spring.

I have the same wheels. They're not stock.- a $1700 upgrade. I have the painted crests, but I like your monochrome ones better.

Thanks for the info those are same size tires I'm running. Now I have a nice idea what to expect if I make the same changes. I might go 18mm though?

Oh, we'll happy surprise for me about the wheels, how much should I ask for them if I was going to sell? And yes, you could get away with the 18mm in the rear, and maybe even around a 10mm vs a 7mm in the front. I would go more but if I sell the wheels I won't be needing the spacers.
