Update for easy $2.50 spark plug tube removal.

I used the 1 inch transom plug which has been mentioned many times before. However, since I had a leak, the oil made it slick and it was a struggle since the plug kept slipping out without pulling the tube. I then cut a small strip of sandpaper (1 inch x 2.5 inch) and wrapped it (grit side facing out) around the rubber plug and presto, every tube popped out perfectly. I used a screwdriver on the handle as a lever to slide them out. Easiest thing to do ever and my car now leaks zero! Although it's a very simple thing, sometimes after struggling underneath the car for a while, common sense doesn't work as well as it's supposed to, and I battled very negative thoughts before I grabbed the sandpaper….lol.

Here are some pictures of my removed tubes. You can see the problem from original factory install. Very easy project to accomplish.

Wow that's terrible. You must've gotten a Monday car where the workers were still drunk from the weekend.

I was getting an occasional dime size leak on the ground. After removing my tubes, my o-rings didn't look significantly irregular, so I had doubt that it was even the tubes/o-rings that were causing the leaking. I went ahead and changed them all anyway, and now I have no more leak!
