Are these chrome or chrome paint? The high-gloss Turbo twists that look like chrome are actually chrome paint.

 

There is an ad on ebay to swap your matte wheels for chrome plated ones for $549. You give them $549 and a $1400 deposit and they send you 4 chrome plated FACTORY wheels and when you mount them you send your originals back in the same box and they refund your deposit. I was hoping someone here had tried this.

 

I think Wheel Enhancement will do a swap too (or at least they'll buy your current set and sell you chrome ones). I've never done business with them but have heard good things about them. Might be worth a call.

I did.

 

I had a c2cab in Seal with those factory chromers. For some reason, the shinyness (is that a word?) of the wheels made the car always appear dirty.

 

Your car looks so beautiful without those Chrome wheels.. I personally hate Chrome because it cheapins the look, but that is my opinion. Good Look!!!!
