PSE waking up at 5,000 miles

Not sure if anyone else has experienced the same thing, but my PSE just went up a few decibels when it hit 5,000 miles. She's so frigg'in loud man. Just can't shut her up!!!

This is why it is nice to have the PSE electronics enabled. No matter how cool a loud exhaust sounds when you get on it, the same sound can be very annoying when just trying to drive down the street at low RPMs and light throttle.

I am really glad, I installed the ability to turn it off when I want.

Unlike you guys...i disabled my PSE switch... and I think it is the best sounding exhaust out there for Porsche N/A engines. Literally perfect acoustics...not too loud either.

Pete: I agree. It's a great sounding exhaust...

Sometimes, it's nice to be able to turn it off. Especially on my Cabriolet.

I love my PSE and it is nice to have the switch when rolling in late or leaving early.

Hopefully you have also removed the PSE cutoff which turns off the PSE from 30-45 mph.

I love the sound of mine too and the ability to quite it down with a press of a button. Good idea, Porsche!

I love the sound of my PSE

...I love every minute of it. I don't have the switch, but it's all cool.

I find myself rarely listening to my Reus System.

Thumbs up

I now have 26k miles and two years on the PSE and I still love it every time I start the car or get on the throttle!

There was a definite increase around 5k ... not exactly sure why but it's truly awesome.

Someone on another board found their exhaust clamps loose as the cause of the louder PSE...
