Thinking of selling my C4S. Price info?

Guys

I am toying with the idea of selling the C4S. Books say retail is around 66k. Dealer says trade is 52k (BS IMHO).

With all the stuff on mine it should bring a bit better price don't ya think?

02
Red/Black
Sport Seats
Deviated stiching
Red gauges
Aluminum shifter and brake
B&M SSK
H&R springs
Misha Wing
Techart front
19in Techart rims
11850 miles

I won't part the car. Just gauging the market. Several dealers around here have 03's non-certified at 73 to 74k with less options.

Damn Tim...that car is hot. FWIW we have (Porsche Dealer here in Indy) a 02 C4S 18,000 miles and a asking price of 69,995. And does not look nearly as nice as yours.

Not a big fan of red, but that car looks VERY nice. 52K is a complete lowball offer. Best route is to advertise to retail directly, and price around $65K. I would say $62K - $64K for a "regular way" car, becaue that is where the market is in reality, but at first blush, the condition and options of your car suggests a premium.

Good luck.

Tim,

One thing I love about your car is the way you modded her, she has class but yet a set of *****.

I say she is a keeper. Very nicely done

You could always list on cars.com for $40 until you sell, just to test the market.

having just shopped around and bought a 02 C4S, i would likely have given you 63-65k for your car based on my reserach. i think the dealer is crazy to offer you that amount. the one i ended up buying, the private owner got a quote of 59K, and has less goodies than you.

there is a 03 silver/black with alum package, but sports, no power seats with 14000 miles certifed asking for 74K here. another 02 meridian colored with grey with nav is asking 69k.

i ended up paying about 65k after my car was inspected and certifed by porsche.

so i think you should definitely find the right buyer who will appreciate your car. many have told me not to pay that much for mine, but after meeting the owner and knowing the history of the car, it didn't matter if i was paying 4k more.

good luck.

If you don't need the money right now, command a small premium for the mods. There is a market out there for enthusiasts. Your car is clean.

Tim, say it ain't so!
That's just about the nicest C4S I've ever seen. Unfortunately ,mods probably bring down the value of a porsche. Better off returning it to stock(close to) and selling off the parts sep. That's the only way to get your money out of mods.
Good luck Tim
Chris
FWIW I would ask 72k with mods, 62k without.

Tim my friend, you have one of the nicest looking C4S's. Keep the car.

I have to say, I am a bit pissed off with you for posting a pic of your car. (j/k) Now you got me wanting to get the TA front bumper for my car.

The mods have to stop.....they are taking a toll on my wallet!!!!!!!
