My new to me 996 C4 Cab
Yesterday, I picked up a 2002 996 Cab, C4. The motor was just rebuild to a 3.8 by LNE and Powertech in NJ under 9,000 miles ago. Got a PPI at Mtech in New Rochelle. Car passed with flying colors. Only thing I see that I will not like is the fact that the car has a Alum, light weight fly wheel. The thing rattles at idle and below 2000 rpm. Both Mtech and another porsche Mechanic said that it was the Alum flywheel and that it was normal. Besides that, the car is very impressive. I never thought I would buy a 996. I'm an air cooled guy.
Well anyway. Hello to all and her is some eye candy.

I bought an 01 C4 last year same color except grey top ...really having a great time with it....enjoy it most people on this site live and breathe Porsche always have...at 56 thats a long time...enjoy!
I have also lived porsche for years. I have had a 85 euro 911 coupe, an 85 911 USA targa, a 1977 930, a 1991 964 C4.
Now water cooled. I'm very excited about it. I never thought I would be, but after back and neck surgery, it feels good to be in a very comfortable 911. Also runs like a bat out of hell. Very nice.

Congrats on the new ride. I grew up in Washingtonville NY. I live on Long Island now but my parents are still up there. I have a 2003 C4 Cab. Maybe we can meet up for a backroad ride one weekend.
