Ghetto airbox

Can't stand to pay for something I figure I can make myself, especially if it's reversable. From looking at the Fabspeed airbox kit, it looked like something I could accomplish with materials I had on hand. All it took was the orange cap from the famous "orange cap mod", some ABS plasic, and a dremel tool. I cut the top out of the resonator box, trimmed it and used silicone adhesive to keep it in place. Also installed K&N air filter. The pics will describe what I did much better than I can...

Very ghetto, but i like it. Does it work well for you? Great decision with the pss9. It's by far my favorite mod. Ok, it's my only mod.

The sound is no different than from b4 with only the orange cap mod. The car seams to revs much quicker and accerates harder now. My air filter was filthy prior to the airbox mod and replacing with the K&N though. I'll get a real world comparo with a friend's modded NSX. Weither of us could pull much more than a few inches on the other b4 so it will be a good indicator if I picked up or not.

I can't wait to mount the suspension. I'm hoping they are as nice as everyone says they are.

Hopefully all the above. Plus the ride hieght adjustment is a huge bonus. At 60k miles, my suspension is worn and the rear sags some. Hoping to be rid of the front end float at 120mph.
