Dead battery?
Dead battery?
Went to get in the car and discovered it was completely dead so after I figured out the ridiculous routine to get the engine and trunk compartment open, I tested the battery and found it to be dead. Bought a really nice battery and installed it, problem fixed.
So I thought, today I go out to install my new LED tail lights and I get in the car to move it only to realize that it's completely dead again??? Obviously something is drawing the battery down.
Lights are off? Car is in gear w/parking brake on. What am I missing?

It sounds like something is draining your battery while the car is off. Check for lights on such as trunk light, interior lights. It would really help to put an ammeter on it and check what it is drawing after you lock it. Worst case - you could have a short somewhere - that could turn to fire if you don't catch it.
