Brushed Aluminum Instrument Ring Kit

Does anyone know how easy to install this ? I want to get one but not sure if they will charge for installation. This place selling for $160 but I think I saw on the porsche magazines for $99 local
not sure if that is the same thing, is that one piece or the rings are separated

ceddy,
those are individual separated pieces that u have to glue on to ur existing instrument. not hard to install at all but make sure u test fit them first before u use the glue. don't put too much glue as well when u ready to put them on.

DO NOT use glue,, use a clear silicon, if glue gets on the glass face of the gauges, you will NEVER get it off. If you get some silicon on the faces , you simpley let it dry and just rub it off....DO NOT USE GLUE...............are we clear??

I bought mine from Suncoast. You can get either flat alum or polished ones. I think flat alum is better and it matches with the interior without glare. $130 is what I paid shipped.

These are sold on eBay for $110+shipping.

Get silicon that is CLEAR, not white. Use lots of paper towel to wipe off excess silicon, you want to do so before it dries.

Hi djantlive,

Do you have the website for Suncoast? Did you buy it online?

Regards

I agree... go with Bumperplugs. I used DAP poster clay (blue color) to fasten them to the existing rings. Easily removed if you want to take off for any reason. Takes a few minutes to install.
