On my 996 for normal highway driving its between the 8 and the 0. On the track its running probably 220-230. Always wondered if that was OK. Car seems to run fine at that temp but it does worry me. Any thoughts?

As far as my 997...its always dead center on 175. I feel like its not even working.

Used to run dead 180, but now more between the 8 and 0. I can't hear the radiator fans, is that a problem?

Between 8 and 0 is no problem, but if your fans are not coming on, especially when the AC is on that's a problem and should be checked out.
