Welcome! The more you drive it, the more you'll fall in love with the car.....and the brand.

all of the negative comments you get are purely out of jealousy. For example: "those repair bills are gonna be high" translation

I cant manage my finances well enough to buy one. let alone smart enough to research the actual cost to repair or prchase for that matter. If I only realized that the Z71 loaded chevy truck i bought last year cost 3 times the amount of this Porsche.

"Work must be doing ok.. eh"

This can be also translated with the above.

ENJOY!!!!

Best reply I've ever heard or seen on buying or owning a Porsche. I just purchased my 2001 and have heard nothing but how terrible a decision it was from those who have no real idea. Those I know that have a Porsche or other quality brand know that their wife's car, boat, or SUV take as much or far more in ongoing costs.

Congrats, she's a looker!

Congrats on the ride, now take a few trips and let the real fun begin. I started on here last month just prior I bought my 2001 996 C2 and thanks to 6speeders I have found not only the things I should look for in a 911 but everything I needed to really make the car mine. Unlike some other forum sites there is a lot of great stuff on here and questions seem to be answered as fast as you can submit them.
