Thumbs up The Big Debate!

Ok I am in a real rut!
I have a 2003 911 C2 that I have babied for 2yrs now, and I love it!
Porsche put together an amazing product, but I want more, I want a newer fascia and more power.
So I have come to the conclusion..I need to sell her.
I have put her up for sale to get a few feelers. So far 28.5k is the best offer I have gotten. That is a decent deal, I was looking for 30k, but this is all besides the point!
I need to replace her with something better. Now here are my options:
I love the Audi S5..4.2L power, tough looking front fascia, and who can beat an Audi interior? Price is roughly around 45k used, but its a very large car :/
I love the power that the 996 Turbo provides, and it provides a ton more umph that my current Pcar does. Problem is Im getting tired of the 996 front fascia..but I looove the power and tone that it has. 49k w/around 45k miles
Lastly, a 2007 997 Carrera 4. Im specifically in the market for a 997 with an aero kit, because they look so darn sexy! But..they dont pack as much punch as the S or TT 996..but they look the best to me. 49k w/ around 38kmiles
Its such a hard decision, they are roughly in the same price range, and they all are beautiful cars!

HELP ME 6speedonline for I need to come up to a decision, or if you guys have any other ideas for cars. Shoot!

How about a 996TT with a 997-style bumper? Maybe that's the best of both worlds...

you said: "I want a newer fascia and more power"

get a 2006-07 997 C2S with a X51 package. new fascia and more power.
If you get the 996TT you will get tired of the interior really fast and you won't feel like you upgraded since is the same interior you have now.

You have point as well Joel..the 996 interior is also well..lacking. This is a hard one, because I wouldnt mind sacrificing interior for a better car, but.. youre right, I wont feel like I have upgraded at all. All very valid points. Just made my seraching harder, Ill try to find an 07 with an X51 pack.

I was in a similar situation as yours but with a 2002 C2. I have decked my 996 with a bunch of OEM carbon fiber, painted console to make it passable. (The interior of the 996 even that is spartan and minimal is starting to show it age and not aging gracefully due to the many ovals/curves used for it's design) The 997 was the correct upgrade path. I changed all the stuff I could on my 997 for carbon fiber and the angular/sharp edges used in the design put the cabin in a modern/current state of mind)
Since I didn't care about the power, I ended with a 997 C2. More than happy!

Looks damn sexy man. I love the 997, I was able to test one out here in Germany, and it was so much more fluid than the 996. But I want more power than what I have. I have friends that have EVO 9s, Z06s, 2013 5.0 stangs, 997 C4S, STIs and I hate just being in the middle. I didn'y buy my car because I like to be the fastest, but now more and more I want more speed. I autoX here a lot and I hit the strip quite a few times a month and also the hockenheimring. Great times are had up here, and I would like more oomph

Then get a 997 C2S X-51 and put a softronic software tune. that will put you closer to 400 HP, then you can add a IDP motorsports plenum and 200 cel cat and call it the day. that will put you on top of your friend's STi, Evo and C4S and right behind the Z06 and stang (power-wise, you still have the upper hand in handling/brakes, craftmanship)
