Bumper & Skirts

I need some help...and I don't have the financial resources as most in this forum...I have a 99 C2 Coupe, Artic Silver, 30k, extremely clean...BUT the underside of the front bumper is a mess, the fender liners have to be jimmy'd to be stay in place...scratched up, tabs broken, etc.

Good time to upgrade to an Aero front bumper and skirts...

What type of Aero fits a 99?
Where can I get a good deal...anyone have kit F/S?
Any other bumpers I should consider?

Also, what is the cost in changing out the factory orange front headlight turn signals to clear...do I have to replace the whole headlight unit?

Thank you!
Engbull

if you have litronics, you can remove the orange part of your headlight by taking out the light assembly. You'll then need a clear corner piece that's next to the headlight. If you have regular halogen, you'll need new headlights. eBay has a lot of these in both litronics and halogen.

factory aero bumper looks best imo. they aren't cheap though. You'll have to dish out over $500 at least and spend money on repainting. Try ebay also.

Thank you for your replies...my 99C2 is Artic Silver, I would be interested in your bumper and headlights...anxious to clean her up...how much!!?

Would it look silly to have a factory front bumper and aero skirts?

Chronos, are these aftermarket wheels? If so, how long have you had them and do you feel any vibrations? If they are good, I might just get a set.

Thumbs up Yes- aftermarket

Yes, they are aftermarket. I haven't had any vibration at all- the tire shops I've taken my car to all are amazed at the quality of the wheels.

How sure are you that they are a 65et? Looks more like 45-50et for a 10" wheel, unless they are not 10".... Unless of course you have spacers...

Tell me more about 15mm spacers? I am thinking I need that to match my front offset to the rear (my rear wheels look just like yours).

Do the spacers bolt to the hub and then I can use the same oem bolts for my wheels to bolt onto the spacer? I have an 03 that uses bolts instead of nuts on studs...

Where did you get your spacers and how much?
