Well, not really fully installed, I just did a little test fit today because I wanted to see if everything lined up etc. Didn't install the latch yet, but the panels all line up nicely. Car going to body shop next week for headlight update, mirror update (the mirrors in the picture are 997 mirrors, not yet painted), new engine lid install and fresh paint. It is using a 997 brake light. Sorry, no better pictures as it was raining today. I know there will be critics, but really could care less =)

Yes, we will be deleting the upper brake light.

 

I actually just got this same decklid in the mail this morning. Will be getting it painted and installed soon. How are you planning on removing the body mounted tail light? I have considered it but wasn't sure how to go about it.

I got mine from Getty Design. Great Guys to work with. You should call them for pricing and about a lid for the C4S. If I remember correctly, that deck lid is a different size than the standard NB C2

 

Also got mine from Getty Design. World class people to deal with. The build quality and finish quality on this fiberglass engine lid is amazing. I wish the rest of my fiberglass parts were this nice. During the test fit, everything lined up very nicely without any modification. They included all extra parts I needed. Was packed very well, and even though I live overseas, it arrived without any damage.

They don't have a real picture of this item on their site, so I basically bought it blind, hoping it would be nice. I'm definitely happy with it.

Body shop will probably create a filler panel to delete the top brake light.

Not sure if they make it for the C4S, but worth asking/encouraging them to do so.

 

Did the tail come with screens for the vents.

 

Yes, mine came with wires, plugs, 997 brake light, and two pre-cut screens for the vents. Basically it came with everything except the paint.

 

Mine also came with all of this. Even primed as well!

 

It looks fantastic. The ducktail, side skirts, and black wheels look perfect on your car. Nice work!

-Yes, it comes with all the mounting areas for fan etc. Everything is there.
