Smog Test / So Cal

Anyone know of a compassionate smog test facility in the West L.A./ Valley area of Southern California that is used to dealing with high performance, perhaps slightly modified vehicles.
My smog test deadline is coming up and concern is growing.
Thanks.
Deke B.

smog test

There are several stations in Calif. that gives you a smog approval after the regular blvd. stations give you a failing grade. I don't have the list of locations, but many are colleges. I believe there is one at Los Angeles Trade Tech which is down town La. and the one that I used is Rio Hondo college in Whittier.

I never said this and it is not me.

Arnold wants your money.

Mail in your registration fee check before it is due to avoid the late registration penalty.

I did this on my 1997 Boxster and 1988 Toyota truck.

Neither had been smogged before the registration due date, but I did send in the registration checks on time.

You will get a notice in the mail that says your registration is incomplete because there has not been a smog inspection. Keep that notice in the car. Normally you get an envelope with a sticker.

The notice you get in the mail after you pay the registration fee says that:

"To avoid penalties you must pay fees by the due date even if you cannot provide smog certification and/or evidence of insurance."

I am still waiting for smog parts from Japan and Germany so that I can get a smog inspections and complete my registration.
