New C4S Owner
New C4S Owner
Hello Folks,
I will be the proud owner of an '02 C4S this Saturday!
First, I think this forum is great. I've been browsing it ever since I began my search.
Secondly, any recommendations to a new owner?
Thanks! Look forward to contributing here.

I waited too long before I did my first track event with the C4S. Driving on the street, you'll never get a full appreciation for just how fast these cars are out of the box.
congrats, i was a first time C4S owner few months ago. you will love it. i look forward to come home from work and take it out for a spin, or go out to get milk!!
i also agree that driving school is definitely a must. i am still trying to go on my first one.
post pics when you get it.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!
Rule #1 will have to wait until i get a hold of it.
I've done a few driver's ed courses. lime rock and pocono raceway are the only ones I've been to so far. hopefully, I would like to make it down to VIR and the ever formidable watkins glen! heard many good things about them!
I've autox'd many times as well. I'm assuming that as with most awd vehicles, the C4S is not the best for autox'ing. nevertheless, i will try it out as well. I've been out of the loop for a few years so i'm sure to be very rusty.
Question: what were your first mods (whatever may be the case for interior, exterior, suspension, engine, exhaust)?
Look forward to being a part of this board! This should be fun!
Captain, that's one sick video on that dyno!
Oh, and one more thing! I love the rear of this car! Don't know why Porsche did away with the classic reflector strip on the 997 C4S

So right on the back end point - you won't get bored of looking from that angle!

Slap a PSE on with electronics and that will really make you smile even wider when rolling on down the street.
