His and Hers

Finally got good news. My 996 was actually loaded on a truck and is heading my way. I should see it Monday or Tuesday. Yesterday, I saw an 05 Cayenne Turbo five miles from my house. I bought it for my wife. I have now officially driven five miles in a Porsche in my entire life and I own two of them.

Lmao, that is about having driven 5 miles and owning two Porsches...sometimes when the bug bites, it bites hard!

Wow that is one fast SUV. I wouldn't be surprised if she beats me in a straight line. Maybe we can duplicate our careless and imprudent driving tickets we got together five years ago.
I'll get pictures next week.

Awesome. Same combination I have. I bought a 996 (99 C2) July 2011. This fall a young driver totalled my M3 by ramming my back end. I found a 2006 Cayenne Turbo S in Chicago. I love that thing, but maintenance is going to kill me. I saw a brake job is going to cost me over $2k doing it myself. Oil change was just done at $100 DIY. Oh well, it is one of the best all around vehicles I could find, and I smile every time I drive it. Congrats on the purchases. Good to see someone else who buys as impulsively as I do

2Gs? Really? It is more involved that throwing some pads on turned rotors?
Guess we gotta take the good with the bad.

Congrats on the purchase and can't wait to see pictures when you finally get it. Sounds like the bug bit really hard !! The brake job shouldn't cost you 2g's especially if you do it yourself. We offer a full line of brake pads and rotors for the Cayenne. For more information Click Here.

I believe front rotors are $1300 for turbo s? It would be great if they are not. You are right if they are turned and not replaced, it shouldn't be much

I just need to score an 85 on the course tomorrow, my Dolphins beat the Colts Sunday, my car show up Monday or Tuesday, and a new President Tuesday night. The planets must align......or something like that
