Great solution for streaming bluetooth and hands free, TK30

Just finished up the installation and couldn't be happier. The Motorola TK30 is an awesome Bluetooth solution and Pandora works very well with it. Auto pauses and switching into PHONE mode when call comes in, right back to Pandora when done and all speakers play music through AUX.

Of course I am lucky since 2002 is non-optical but highly recommended!

Comes with Ipod/ USB+3.5mm in (I put into glove box)

All you have to do to the TK30 harness is adjust the PHONE & AUX inputs on the Becker 220 CDR with a 8-pin blue plug. Found a 5 wire input harness on eBay. Or can order harness custom online.

Must enable PHONE mode & AUX mode on Becker. Phone is by holding down the "down arrow" button to access the menu to enable. AUX is by holding down the "TP" button to enable AUX.

Then on the TK30 get into the "Installer Menu" by holding down the green button on TK30 power-up and enable LINE OUT. (otherwise you only get music from one speaker since TK30 holds you in PHONE mode) I also chose to flip the output screen to have the **** to closer to driver side. Paired up phone via bluetooh and done!

Did you cut the harness to do the install or did you use http://www.discountcarstereo.com/BT-BKRTMCK.html

I am thinking of doing the same on my 99, and this cable seems to make it very straight forward and easy.

Never mind reread your post.

That must be the new harness offered. Makes install super easy.

Are you happy with the Motorola kit? I have been considering the Parrot which is a lot more, but seems to be the go to kit.

I used to have a Motorola kit in my car, and I was happy with it. Ultimately I replaced it with a double-DIN Kenwood system because I wanted a more "integrated" solution. That being said, the Motorola kit worked very well.

I believe the TK30 has a parrot chip inside of it for the phone functions.
