LED Turnsignals hyperblinking when AC or Headlights are turned on...?
Hi guys, iI have aftermarket projector headlights with LEDs and also aftermarket LED tailights. My right turn signal lights hyperblink when i turn on my AC or Headlights. Strange! When the AC and HLs are off they blink normally. Any of you experienced this? Any quick fix? Why is this happening? TIA guys!
Hyperblink is one of the hazards of LED overdose. Try replacement load resistors (these will get super hot) and/or LED flasher relay. Search the threads on this one. My Dectane hyperblink issue was resolved with a DIY $12 LED flasher relay, but now I have some other electrical gremlins that are drawing power somewhere. Worst case, you can isolate the problem by putting an amp meter on the terminal and pull fuses until you find the problem area. Good luck!
Thanks. Will be doing some experiments then. Ill try the resistors first - probably replacing the rear right resistor with a higher value will do the trick. Its just strange that it only happens when you turn on the AC or HID headlights. And this didnt happen before as well. Strange. Maybe thats what we get for messing around with the OEs :-)
