Just wanted to introduce my self. I just purchased a 2000 911 and wanted to show it to all of you.
It is a 2000 Tip Convertible, did not buy it to track it or race it, just to get into Porsches and have a good excuse to really learn about them.
My plans are to clean it up a bit, put new rear tires on it and enjoy it! It came with tons of maintenance receipts, the engine is extremely quiet and everything works, the car drives great @ 147k miles.

Thanks guys, it has a few things here and there but the previous 2 owners took really good care of it. I might be selling it soon to get my self into a 911 Turbo, we'll see!
Congrats on the purchase. The black on black cab looks great. Where in Michigan are you ? I used to live in Kalamazoo for many years.

That's a good place to buy as long as it hasn't been exposed too the sun too much. Are you planning on heading to the Porsche Parade in Traverse City at the end of June ?
