C2 airbag issue

I have a 2003 911 C2 with an airbag problem. The indicator light comes on, but when diagnosed by a porsche mechanic no problem is found. The indicator light is reset and everything is ok for about 4-5 months until the airbag light reappears. The car has 44,000 miles and is lightly driven.

Has anyone had this experience or any ideas?

Thank you,
Bill

could be a lot of things. what does the errorcodes say when the light come on? what you describe sounds like a cable lying on the move and when the pin somewhere is disrupted the system detects it and the light comes on.
