Yo ho. New member. There was some glitch in there 3rd-party verification system (it kept saying that my IP address was not registered or some similar baloney), so I wasn't able to join 6speed. Looks like they got it fixed, because the registration process worked today!

EDIT: Anyone know why it converted my pix to thumbnail size? Is it because I'm a lowly new member? Is it because I am not yet a paid member? Are they just mad at me??

EDIT #2: OK, the webmaster sent me a message. Double-click my pix to see in full size. He says I need to have them hosted on a server to be shown full size. Seems odd to me....

EDIT #3: I uploaded some pix to my album on this site, then inserted the URL for that picture using the "Insert Image" icon. Now I have links, but still no full-size photo showing. And, I can't figure out how to remove those links. Quite the "fail" for a first post here. Arggghhh!

Can any of you guys answer the question in my original post (i.e. how can I make pictures insert as full-size, rather than thumbnails?

I really don't understand about what the web-master said... posting my pic to my server. I don't have a server... it's just me and a laptop!

 

All forum's I've ever been associated with require the same procedure. Load your photos to a photo server (many of us use Photobucket). Then click on the image code for the image and copy that. Then, insert the link into your posting at the appropriate spot and, once you save the post, you are finished. You can immediately review your post and make any changes you like.

 

OK, thanks for the reply. I'm a member of Rennlist, which uses and identical platform as this site. When I upload pix from my computer to Rennlist's site, they come out full sized.

Yep, Lapis Blue it is! Engine was out for preventative maint., including LN IMSB upgrade, new water pump, AOS, etc.
