How often should the Transmission Fluid be flushed.
How often should the Transmission Fluid be flushed.
...on a 996 manual? This was recommended by a friend. Since I'm getting the 60k service done, should I just get this out of the way also?
TIA for everyone's input.

There is no service interval on the transmission oil or fluid in the case of an automatic.
However, it is probably prudent to change these fluids every 100-120K miles. If you track your car or otherwise use it in what is called a "severe duty cycle", then 60K is warranted, but if you do not race, or use the car for daily slow stop & go driving, then don't worry about it.
