I'm a Bridgestone fan as well, maybe not the "best" in everything, but offers a good value for what I tend to look for in a tire, KH

If you need as much grip possible won't you be looking at r-comps? R888/Hoosiers?

Before I moved to a house and lived in the city I only had one set of tire/wheels and I settled for Michelin A/S 3.

I actually TRACK WITH THESE THINGS.

Not bad for an AS tire.
The reality is that for a DD these will be far more capable than what we do to the car.

I went with Michelin Pilot Super Sports and could not be happier. they are a definite improvement over the Direzza's that were on there.

I'm running Hankook RS3s (235-285) on my C2. I happy with the grip and wear so far but the car is used mostly for autox and trackdays.

Threw on some Bridgestone S-04s yesterday, coming from an odd-ball set of S-02s up front and RE050s in the rears. Both were old (circa 2005), so the road noise was a little nutty, but they seemed to stick pretty well.

Did an alignment and my expected usage is daily fun and no track time. So far, these don't seem too bad and easy on the wallet-- KH
