I have the Aux cable connecting the stock radio from my old '02 996 C4S to the iPhones, and the cradle. The cradle is great too, and works on the iPhone with the standard 30 pin connector. It plays all sounds through the stereo and charges the phone. I took it all out of the car when I sold it and have a 997 now. If anyone would like this setup, let me know. I will hook you up. Just ask that you pay shipping. Let me know if you want more details also.

The cradle (Pro clip 527170) works ONLY with the 30 pin (I.e. iPhone 4S and older). Won't work on the iPhone 5. But the connection to the stock radio will work fine. It connects to the aux connector on the stereo, and to the headphone jack on the phone. And the car mount will work.

So, if you want a cradle for the iPhone 5, you have to go buy it. I loves the ProClip products. Go check them out.

The kit has three items:
ProClip car mount for Porsche 996 that secures on the right side of console
ProClip 527170 car cradle that wires to power in the car
Cable to connect aux on CDR220 to 3.5" headphone jack on any phone or audio player.
