Doesn't look like one would fit. Different locations for the bolt/stud holes based on comparing a picture of a Turbo header to that of a NA 996 engine header.

Looked on some pictures and you seem to have right.
Thanks Macster

Anyone knows if the distance between the three tubes are the same then?

My plan then is to buy a set of 996 turbo header from ebay and cut of the tubes from the flange and mount them on 996 C2 exhaust flange.

I will turbo convert my 996 C2 (Yes i know, buy a turbo instead thank you for the advice :P )

fwiw unless your going to run big power (600 rwhp+) header wont do much. the oem turbo headers flow extremely well and may be easier to find.

You don't necessarily need these to do a turbo conversion. You can use or modify your existing ones.

Step 1 will be the "turbo conversion" Step 2 will be open the engine and change parts to bigger volume and higher boost/turbo.
oem turbo header is VERY expensive here cheaper on ebay

Correct but the turbos will be placed as on 996 turbo, and the current headers points out backwards.

The plan is?

Step 1: (Low boost, not open the engine)
Twin turbo + Exhaust manifolds
Intercoolers
E85 + Fuel pump + injectors (New bigger fuel line is needed)
VEMS - Engine Management Systems to control fuel/air/+everything else

Step 2: (Higher boost)
Open engine and more volume (3.8-3.9 if possible)
Bigger turbo
HIGHER BOOST

/M

If that's the case, it might be easier to get 997 S OEM headers or Schnell headers as they both have a 3 to 1 triangular merge like the turbo manifolds. Then chop off after it merges and weld the appropriate flange. There's a set of 997 S headers now on Rennlist for $200.

most of the turbo guys running high hp 800+ run oem headers with external waste gates. oem headers aren't that expensive and readily available

The question is more about fitment on a non turbo motor and not so much power restrictions.

Yeah, i will find a set of header and but the flange of and mount if on the correct one.

I will get a gasket from 996 and 996 turbo to measure the distance between the tubes.

My first step will be from 300 to 400-450 with "external" upgrades, and if possible to only change some of the componentes when upgrading to +500 next year...
