clean area around Ims

Question clean area around Ims

Hi guys I'm getting ready to change the IMS. Rms, aos, clutch
It is very dirty with goop.,
Only 193k on it lol and not sure when or if its been replaced
what cleaner should i use to clean flywheel area
before I take it completely apart?
motor is still in car , removed transmission
any help would be great

I like to start with a orange/citrus based cleaner, might need to brush to help loosen gunk. Brake cleaner spray to clean. Don't leave the citrus on more than 5 minutes as it dulls the aluminum.
