LED Strip Side markers DIY thread?
I concur. The OEM assembly seems to light up in one corner and the light doesn't fill the entire reflector surface evenly. Understandable, since the original side markers weren't designed to be running lights.
I am very curious to see how this LED side-marker strip looks. I did this last year and subsequently removed it because the LED strip started showing condensation. A plug-n-play insert into the side marker would be a nice solution, if it looks good.

You may not have to hack open to get LED side markers

Sorry guys,finally got around to taking some photo's. Here are pictures of the new ones i got and what they look like compared to my old aftermarket ones.I really like the quality of these side markers. I also really like how you can see them from behind. The LED'S are bright,you can't really tell from the photo's..
