Thanks, reason why I was asking is because the fabspeed 996 c2 bypass pipes are a bit longer.

It does state on the ebay advert (This item is bolt on tips, may needs professional installation for cutting or trimming.) I would not like to spend almost $200 on a whim.

Exhaust tip pipe length varies between mk1 and mk2 models as the mk2 models have a lower exhaust cutout in the bumper and requires longer pipes. If you put on mk2 tips on a mk1 bumper, it will hang lower and not be tucked up.

Ah ok Thanks Alpine. In my case with the 996 3.6 c2 (long pipe), those ebay bypass pipes will not fit. Had not known there was a difference in pipe length between mk1 and mk2. Thanks again.

Are you asking about the exhaust bypass pipes that replace the mufflers? If so that is not it, those are just Exhaust Tips and the pipe that clamps to the muffler.
