Battery Complete!

Well just installed the new battery and it was a snap! took about 45 minutes, a 10mm and 13mm sockets, no-ox, and felt pads. The Die-Hard was an exact fit, didn't have to use vent tube adapters. Cleaned it all out applied no-ox the everything including the battery tray so we're good to go. Kept the maintainer plugged in so radio started with no code required.

I used a Bosch Size 49. About $120-150 as I recall. Note the parts book indicate the next size up which fits but cannot be secured in the tray because there's no thread in the third hole of the tray.

I got it for $160.00 out the door. I chose this one because I wanted the AGM(Absorbed Glass Mat) technoology.

Did you consider a group size 48? A bit smaller and lighter?

No, I live in the NE and wanted all the juice I could get from the battery considering the cold weather and the lack of driving in the winter.
