I don't have them but there has been some talk about changing to LED's which is that they may need to be modified because the electrical system on our cars will not allow for plug and play. And to be honest, I'd be careful doing anything with the electrical system.

The headlights in that link aren't HID. They are projector lenses, but you have to convert them to HID if that's what you want.

I've had them for almost 2 years now. As stated, they are not HID but are easily converted. I added HID's to my head light and fog light. I love how they update the car,and they were plug and play for me. Only thing i had to get was a LED flasher.

Guys, have a question... some of the Sellers of these headlights specify "only for factory halogen models" has anyone installed them on 996 with the Litronics xenon headlights? thanks!

it works on all headlight model mk1's 99-01
parking/signals are LED
fog and low high beam are halogen(nonhid).
fog and low's can easily be converted to HID. Ebay has a g4 slim HID kit you can get for about 30 bucks that you can convert to HID. It has projector's so with the HID conversion, the beam cutoff is pretty clean.
The led's do look cheezy but I ran them a good couple years without issues. They looked better than the nonHID oem that I had.
If you contact Jeff from xtrememotorsports directly(google), he should be able to get you a better deal.
There's 2 different versions. Blacked out and chrome version.
The beams are adjustable up down left right
When you initially install them, make sure you have the projector adjusted downward or else you're going to scratch the lens on the inside as the projector will rub on the lens leaving a mark.
That should answer all the questions.

On some cars, the turn signals may blink really fast.
Buy a 12 buck flash relay. Install under dash(1 min) and you shouldn't have a problem.

Geetee, thanks for the info... I've been looking to get them for a long time, but always had in the back of my mind the "only for halogens" thing...
