Electrical issue

I have a 1999 C4 with 52000 miles - purchased new and dealer or Indy maintained including every and any upgrade imaginable. Suddenly door locks, windows, hazards, signals and interior lights do not work. Any ideas. Any help is greatly appreciated.

First thing to check is the battery ... failing battery causes all sorts of electrical flakiness.

Just had a service 2 months ago that included a new battery (1000 miles trouble free since service). Thank you for your response. Let me know if you have any additional thoughts.

I didn't think one fuse would be involved in so many different circuits.

I also want to add that the sunroof is not working and after I close the driver side door - not able to lock it - the horn honks twice. Curious if any one has experienced this issue and what was the solution?

I cannot get into the trunk to disconnect the battery - it's locked. I've read the threads on unlocking with a dead battery - no battery, etc - still no luck. The battery is not dead- car starts up fine and drives fine. I'm wondering if the electrical problem I'm experiencing has something to do with a bad alarm module if there is such a thing. Again, I appreciate any help or insight.

Update: Electrical problem solved - a short in a connection to one headlight caused 3 fuses to blow (no wonder my power windows, sunroof, signals, hazards and interior lights did not work- nor could I unlock my trunk or gas filler door). Once this short was diagnosed it was repaired and 3 new fuses were installed. Back on the road. Again thanks for all your help.
