I spoke with Mark at Getty. They make a Carbon fiber hood thats fits regular 996 and TT. The Piece can be left carbon or you can paint to match your cars color. It weighs 12 pounds while the stock weighs 38 pounds. The Group buy price is $580.00.

dayum...i would go in on the group buy had you posted it sooner...i bought one yesterday from Performance products for $772....i might be able to cancel it though..


How many do you have to buy to get the group buy discount?

 

I need 10, also I heard the fitment on the performance products one was not that great. Another board member bought it an returned it.

 

I spoke to Performance about their hood, but this sounds like another option. Trying to find a picture on their site to see the quality.
